British Undergraduate Dental Research Conference 2017

Tipton Training accepted an invitation to ‘The Manchester Undergraduate Dental Research Conference 2017’ on Saturday, 4th March 2017. The event was a huge success with over 300 dental students travelling from all corners of the country to learn and shape the future of dentistry. The conference catered for students at varying stages of their careers, from undergraduates just beginning their journey, to more experienced postgraduates.

In the afternoon session we introduced a leader in the field of restorative dentistry and one of our lead lecturers, Dr Matthew Holyoak. He presented the afternoon sessions on Dental Trauma and shared definitions, case examples and management of trauma with the young aspiring future dentists.

Tipton Training’s Marketing Manager, Trisha Wason also had the opportunity to meet the dynamic and enthusiastic dental students and deliver a talk on career progression in dentistry and academic development. Giving hints and tips to give them a competitive edge over their peers.
