The Importance of Dentistry in Sport

Following our Olympians’ most successful Olympics in more than 100 years, winning 29 gold medals and ending up third in the table critics will no doubt question if we can do it again in 2016 in Rio. Our competitors will study our performances and scrutinise every detail of our preparation and performance in the different events.

Dentists and Myotherapists working in a Multidisciplinary Clinic can play an important role in improving the performance of our athletes and help to prevent structural injuries.
